01Q: Once ordered, how quickly will I receive my turbos?
A:Because each order varies based on the needs of the customer, the delivery time can be longer or much shorter. SK Power is capable of providing, at a customer's request, deliveries as quick as four to six weeks from receipt of a paid order.

02Q: How do I identify and describe the product I want to buy?
A: SK Power Turbo uses a unique parts numbering system that cross-refers to the part numbers created by the original turbocharger manufacturer. This prevents any confusion between original products and SK Power's products. When ordering, refer to the turbo manufacturer, their model type and part number; and give a brief description of the item. The SK Power catalog describes our full line of products, including cross-references to the turbo manufacturers' part numbers.

03Q: I need Original Certificate for my cargo, can you provide it?
A:Yes, we can provide original certificate that you need. Since we have our own export right, we could directly contact with Association for the Promotion of International Trade and prepare original certificate for you.

04Q:I want to use express service to deliver my sample order, but the delivery costs that quoted by my local express agent is too high. Can you help me out of this?
A:Yes, we can. Well, although we don't mean that we will deal with the express delivery costs for you, we do could manage to reduce the amount of these costs. Since it is quite often for us to deliver turbo and CHRA samples by express service to our customers in worldwide, we have made agreements with express companies, such as TNT, DHL and UPS. This enables us to have much better express delivery prices than most of our international customers. So, if you want to cut express delivery costs for your sample orders, just tell us and we will do the rest.

05Q:Can I visit your factory when I have a business trip to China?
A:Of course, you can. We welcome our customers and friends to come and visit our factory at any time when convenient. Before your visit, please inform us your travel schedule in advance and we will help you to book hotel. When you arrive, we will arrange our employees to pick you up at the air port and drive you to our factory and then to hotel.

06Q:What about the packaging of your products?
A:Generally we use neutral package for our products. Metal labels on turbochargers will indicate the products information, such as turbo model, part number or OEM number. And stickers are pasted on package boxes with similar information on them. If you have special requirements about product packaging, please let us know and we will see what we could do for you.

07Q:Is there any Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirement?
A:We could fully understand new customers' concern when the first time they do business with us. Therefore, we allow our customers to put sample orders, which means they could choose certain models and order only 1 pcs of each model for test purpose. In other words, there is no MOQ.

08Q:When can I receive the documents that needed when pick up my goods?
A:We use express service to deliver related documents, which might include bill of lading, original certificate, original invoice copy and insurance documents. These documents will be sent to you shortly after the dispatch of your goods. Our sales personnel will contact you and inform you the tracking number when documents have been sent and you will receive them in about 5-7 days time after our notification.

09Q:There is no business partner or authorized representative in my area. Who should  I contact?
A:Send email to sales@skpower.cn, leave message on our website, call us or fax us will be OK.

10Q:How can I become an authorized representative for SK Power products?
A:Send us brief details about your business, including product range, selling new or rebuilt product, turn-over in turbos sold, locations and territory covered, existing supply sources, and distributorships held.

11Q:What qualities does SK Power look for in a authorized representative?
A:If you would like to become a representative, you should know that we look for companies that are established and have a proven track record of quality work and service in the independent turbo after-market. Ideally, you should be in the business of selling rebuilt turbos and/or new turbo assemblies and parts. Your company should have turbos as a major part of your product range and invest in inventory to meet local demand with timely service.

12Q:How does a Wastegate work?
A:Wastegate is simply a turbine bypass valve. It works by diverting some portion of the exhaust gas around, instead of through, the turbine. This limits the amount of power that the turbine can deliver to the compressor, thereby limiting the turbo speed and boost level that the compressor provides. The Wastegate valve can be "internal" or "external". For internal Wastegates, the valve itself is integrated into the turbine housing and is opened by a turbo-mounted boost-referenced actuator. An external Wastegate is a self-contained valve and actuator unit that is completely separate from the turbocharger. In either case, the actuator is calibrated (or set electronically with an electronic boost controller) by internal spring pressure to begin opening the Wastegate valve at a predetermined boost level. When this boost level is reached, the valve will open and begin to bypass exhaust gas, preventing boost from increasing.

13Q:What is the purpose of an Intercooler?
An intercooler's primary function is to cool the charge air after it has been heated due to boosting and the heat that is produced by the turbo before sending the air into the engine. As the air is cooled, it becomes denser, and denser air makes for better combustion (more power). Additionally, the denser, cooler air helps reduce the chances of knock.

14Q:The turbo gauges measures turbine speed, right?
The "turbo gauge", commonly called a boost gauge, does not measure turbine speed. It measures the intake manifold pressure. Under light loads the boost gauge will indicate a vacuum due to the turbocharger shaft not rotating fast enough to create positive pressure (boost). Once load (throttle position) increases, the boost gauge will indicate a positive pressure.
